National HoNOS Calibration Challenge 2027
The National HoNOS Calibration Challenge will return in 2027, bringing together mental health teams from around Australia to test, discuss and strengthen their HoNOS rating skills.
Last year's Challenge highlighted the value of structured clinical discussion and calibration, providing teams with an opportunity to compare interpretations, explore different perspectives and build confidence in the consistent application of HoNOS rating guidelines.
The 2027 Challenge will introduce a new series of clinical scenarios spanning a range of mental health settings and levels of complexity. Teams will once again have the opportunity to come together, debate ratings and apply their clinical judgement in a practical and engaging learning activity.
Whether used as part of team education, a professional development session or a quality improvement activity, the Challenge offers a simple way to encourage discussion about consistent outcome measurement practice.
