Using the NOCC and Experience Measures to Meet the Requirements of the NSQHS Standards

AMHOCN has developed resources that provide guidance on the use of NOCC measures and experience surveys to demonstrate evidence for actions under the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. These resources include examples of how the measures can be applied to show evidence of processes, monitoring, reporting, and system effectiveness, along with consumer collaboration.

Go to our Accreditation page to access both the resource "Using the NOCC and Experience Measures to Meet the Requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards" and view animated videos that explain each of the 8 NSQHS Standards and their associated actions. One video also describes the role of the assessor in the accreditation process. The videos also highlight how the NOCC measures, along with the YES and CES experience surveys, can be used as evidence to support accreditation.
